A multi-day retail theft enforcement operation in A multi-day retail theft enforcement operation in Alachua County resulted in seven arrests. On Friday, December 5, and Friday, December 12, 2025, the Alachua County Sheriff’s Office (ASO) partnered with @fdlepage, @gainesvillepolice (GPD), and local Loss Prevention Officers (LPOs) from major retail establishments to address organized retail theft during the holiday shopping season.

During the operation, members of ASO’s FOCUS Unit and ASO Detectives assisted GPD in locating a wanted suspect, Quinnetta Quinn, in connection with an armed robbery at Walmart in which a loss prevention officer was pepper-sprayed. Additionally, ASO deputies assisted GPD with a missing persons investigation involving an elderly individual with dementia who had left the Walmart area at Butler Plaza on foot. Deputies gathered pertinent information, conducted a canvas of the area, located the individual, and safely reunited them with their family.

Throughout the operation, law enforcement issued a total of four sworn complaints related to organized retail crime. The following seven individuals were arrested and face criminal charges:

Charles Aldridge, Joseph Barnes, Latonya Fletcher, Sandrika Webb, Tina Land, Quinnetta Quinn, and a juvenile.

The Alachua County Sheriff’s Office is grateful for the strong collaboration with our law enforcement partners and retail loss prevention teams. By working together, we are able to hold offenders accountable while helping ensure a safe, secure, and positive shopping experience for our community during the holiday season.
