Have you ever had one of those days where you just Have you ever had one of those days where you just didn’t feel yourself? Run down, tired, clearly fighting off a nasty bug, but you knew you just had to push through.

Well K9 Micco was feeling that way today while helping his partner protect the sweet kiddos of B’nai Israel School. The wonderful ladies working at B’nai heard that Micco was under the weather and immediately jumped into action. They cooked him a nutrient rich meal of Salmon and rice to help keep him nourished to fight off the crud!

Micco is a fan 😋

Yesterday afternoon, Sheriff Scott, Undersheriff Crews, members of our Command Staff and our entire K9 Team had the great pleasure of spending time with members of the Greater Gainesville Dog Fanciers, who graciously donated a $10,000 check to the Alachua County Sheriff's Office to support the purchase of a new law enforcement K9.

While the donation, in and of itself, was an extraordinary gift, the greater blessing is the trust and support that this organization and many of our community members have placed in us to serve this county with the highest level of care and professionalism.

These relationships continue to prove that as "One Team" we can truly make Alachua County the best place to live, work and play.

THANK YOU GREATER GAINESVILLE DOG FANCIERS!
